Overview

This board supports USB Power Delivery (PD) Specification Rev. 3.0 and USB-Type C. The R9A02G011 USB PD controller performs authentication to accept USB Type-C.

  • Takes input power from a wide range of DC power sources.
  • Allow output voltage above 20V and still keep within USB-C power rating.
  • Enable turbo boost from the energy stored in the battery to the load, keeping within the USB PD max power range (e.g., utilize battery power to provide supplementary power during motor kick-start stage and to prevent hitting inrush current by the current limit of the USB Type-C adapter).
