Description

Achieving long battery life in IEEE 802.15.4g applications is a challenge for system designers. Renesas has developed a solution for IoT edge devices that can operate for up to 10 years off of a primary battery. The ultra-low power RL78/G1H MCU supports the IEEE 802.15.4g Sub-Gigahertz communications standard and interfaces easily to a variety of sensors. This reference design can shorten the time to prototype for gas metering, logistic tracking or other edge sensing applications.
