Overview
Description
This motor control design is intended for power tools. The power source (battery or mains power supply) is not included in this proposal and is represented here as a simple battery pack. For reference, a high voltage solution (48V) is demonstrated using a high-performance Arm® Cortex®-M4 based MCU. This MCU features specific PWM timers for 3-phase motor control, including a floating point unit (FPU) to enhance algorithm performance.
