Overview
Description
In industrial applications, the Controller Area Network (CAN) is the most widely used device-level communication bus, known for its high reliability and cost-effectiveness. Sensors are also prevalent in these applications, measuring factors like air quality and humidity. This design illustrates a sensor data collection network utilizing CAN functionality in the Arm® Cortex®-M23 core-based MCU. CAN nodes are connected via an isolated RS-485 transceiver and an inverter.
System Benefits:
- 48MHz Arm Cortex-M23 core delivers outstanding performance for efficient computation and fast response times.
- Integrated encryption library in the MCU ensures safe communication and data protection, maintaining data integrity in critical applications.
- High-speed RS-485 transceiver provides a robust communication interface, ensuring reliable communication over long distances and in noisy environments.
