Mr. Hasegawa serves as Acting CSMO at Renesas Electronics Corporation. He is responsible for Renesas’ global sales and marketing since October 2024.
He joined Renesas in November 2020 as Vice President of Japan Sales. His role expanded to include broader Asian markets when he became Vice President of Japan & Asia Pacific Sales in July 2023. Most recently, he held the position of Vice President of Global Regional & JAPAC Sales, Sales & Marketing, where he was responsible for all global markets.
Mr. Hasegawa brings over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing with leading global semiconductor companies. Previously, He held multiple senior executive positions focused on business development with major accounts in Japan and other Asian markets. With extensive experience at global firms and deep knowledge in the Asian market, he has recently assumed the role of Acting CSMO, where he oversees Renesas’ global operations.
Before joining Renesas, he was Vice President and Head of the Connected Secure Systems Division at Infineon Japan, as well as Vice President at Infineon Technologies AG. Prior to his tenure at Infineon, he served as the Japan representative for global semiconductor companies such as Cypress, Spansion and IDT.
Mr. Hasegawa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Global Engineering from Kogakuin University in Tokyo, Japan.
