Renesas Electronics today announced an update of its notice issued on December 28 with regard to part of the manufacturing equipment at Naka Factory which were temporarily halted due to the earthquake but were being re-launched in a sequential manner.
We completed re-launch of all of the manufacturing equipment and restored full pre-earthquake production capacity (wafer input capacity) on the evening of January 1.
Details of the impact from this earthquake on the delivery plan for individual products will be reported to respective customers as soon as we complete the assessment.
