Overview
Description
Due to the progression of global warming, work environments in construction sites and similar locations are becoming more challenging. Workers face extreme temperatures, leading to decreased productivity and increased health risks. To combat these challenges, the market for personal cooling and heating systems, such as air-conditioned work clothes with built-in fans, is growing. These systems provide a safer and more comfortable environment, enhancing worker efficiency and well-being.
This design incorporates a Peltier module, known for its dual heating and cooling capabilities, into work attire. It utilizes the Peltier effect, creating a heat flux between the junction of two different materials. The module's precise temperature control, achieved by finely adjusting the heat absorbed or released, ensures worker comfort in both summer and winter. Additionally, the system's simple configuration, enabled by the MCU with an analog front-end (AFE), allows for accurate signal detection and computation, leading to precise and reliable temperature management.
System Benefits:
- Peltier module for temperature control provides year-round comfort with precise heating and cooling.
- MCU with AFE ensures accurate signal detection and computation for precise temperature management.
- Built-in AFE and one-package drive circuit reduce parts and board size, enhancing compactness and efficiency.
- Programmable HVPAK drive circuit offers design flexibility, adapting to various environmental conditions and user needs.
