Overview

Description

This solar panel tracker and cleaning system aims to provide an efficient power harvesting solution using solar panels. The tracker system moves the panel as per the Sun’s position to collect maximum solar light using a solar irradiation sensor. The cleaning system ensures a clean surface of the solar panel with the help of a wiper and water sprinkler. The system uses an MCU to drive the tracking and wiper motors and operate the water pump solenoid valve. Wi-Fi+Bluetooth® LE and LTE modules add cloud connectivity features and remote operation.

System Benefits:

  • Low maintenance as BLDC motors are used.
  • Ultra-low power Wi-Fi+Bluetooth LE module used for cloud connectivity and smart home.
  • For a longer range, an LTE Cat-M1 module for Cellular connectivity is used.
