Description

The ISLVERSALDEMO3Z is a comprehensive power management reference design tailored to meet the needs of the XQRVE2302, AMD’s Versal AI Edge Adaptive SoC. The XQRVE2302 integrates advanced AMD AI Engine (AIE) technology, known as AIE-ML, delivering superior performance for machine learning inference, particularly in anomaly and image detection applications. With numerous power rails, each requiring specific DC and AC regulation tolerances and sequencing, managing power can be complex. The ISLVERSALDEMO3Z simplifies this by offering a fully qualified, radiation tolerant power management solution using Renesas’ Intersil family of radiation tolerant products.

Pair the ISVERSALDEMO3Z with the ISL71148VMREFEV1Z voltage monitor reference design with 14-bit resolution to accurately monitor all 11 core power rails of the VERSAL AI Edge Adaptive SoC. The high resolution enables reliable system health monitoring and includes a "dual-footprint" to accommodate both space plastic and rad hard hermetic solutions, providing a comprehensive power solution for the XQRVE2302.
