Overview

Description

This is an infusion level monitoring solution to detect the remaining amount of liquid using low-power consumption and capacitive touch sensors. Users can monitor the remaining liquid amount via Bluetooth® Low Energy (LE) or Wi-Fi in a remote location (e.g., a nurse station). This solution can be applied to not only infusion but also to various applications with liquid tanks.

System Benefits​:

  • Capacitive touch sensing and system control are realized using the RX140 32-bit MCU.
  • The simple configuration of only the electrodes enables the detection of the remaining amount of liquid, which contributes to a reduction in BOM cost.
  • Low power consumption Wi-Fi + Bluetooth LE module and RX140 MCU for long-term operation, ideal for battery-powered applications.
