Overview

Description

The ZSSC3122-3123KIT SSC Evaluation Kit contains the hardware needed for configuration, calibration and evaluation of the ZSSC3122 and ZSSC3123 capacitive sensor signal conditioning (SSC) ICs. The user's computer can communicate with the ZSSC3122 or ZSSC3123 IC socketed on the cLite SSC Evaluation Board via the SSC Communication Board through a USB connection. The Evaluation Kit Software is available on-line for free download.

The cLite SSC Evaluation Board can connect to the user's capacitive sensor or provide on-board capacitors for simulating input from a capacitive sensor. The kit also includes a small unpopulated Test Board for facilitating user prototypes.

For further information and support for the SSC Communication Board, visit the SSC-CB product page.

Boards can also be ordered separately. To enable product comparisons, this modular kit is compatible with other select IDT devices. Contact your local sales representative for more information.

IDT Sensor Signal Conditioner (SSC) Evaluation Kit Overview

A brief introduction and overview of IDT's (acquire by Renesas) sensor signal conditioner evaluation kits. Evaluation kits generally consist of three parts: a communication interface board, a device board, and a sensor simulator board - all connected together. A sophisticated software GUI accompanies the kit, enabling an engineer to learn how to use the part rapidly, do quick prototyping, and practice calibrations.

Presented by David Grice, applications engineer at IDT. For more information about IDT's sensor signal conditioner products, visit the Sensor Signal Conditioner page.
