Features

  • Emulator supported: IE850
  • Software break: Available (Number of points depends on the debugger.)
  • Hardware break (Note: Ranges can be specified by 2 points):
    • 12 points
      • 8 dedicated for use with the execution of instructions at particular addresses
      • 4 shared between use with execution and access events
  • Event detection:
    • 8 points for post-execution events and 8 points for CPU access events A sequential break with up to 4 stages can be created by combining the above types of event.
    • 4 points for DMA access events A sequential break with up to 3 stages can be set up from DMA access events.
    • 32-bit counters for counting numbers of passes
  • Exception event detection: Not available
  • Realtime trace
    • Trace range: 512K frames
    • Trace data: Branch source/destination PC, access and time stamp
    • Conditional trace: Section in combination with event detection, qualify and delay
  • Realtime RAM monitor: Available (DMA for debugging used)
  • Direct memory modification: Available (DMA for debugging used)
  • Performance measurement
    • Execution time from run to break
    • 3 points for measurement of program execution times from run to break, and/or between pairs of event points. Items for measurement: Total execution time, number of passes, maximum execution time, and minimum execution time
    • 4 points for measuring numbers of instructions, interrupts, exceptions, clock cycles, instruction fetches, and hits on the instruction cache in program execution from run to break, and/or between pairs of event points
Items for measurement: Maximum values, minimum values, latest values, cumulative values, and number of passes
      32-bit counters for performance measurement
  • Realtime profile: Available (by using trace, depending on the debugger used)
  • Coverage: Not available
  • External trigger input/Event output: Not available
  • User system connection: Connected to the connecter mounted on the foot pattern of the MCU via an adapter.
  • Emulation pod external dimensions (mm): 75(W) x 94(D)
  • Emulation pod weight: Approx. 70 g
  • Conformance with overseas standards:
    • European Standards: EN 55022 Class A, EN 55024
    • US FCC Standard: FCC part 15 Class A
