DC Motor Driver Pmod

Overview

Description

This implementation of the HVPAK™ programmable mixed-signal matrix over Pmod™ offers users the flexibility to control and configure the HVPAK motor drive using any MCU/MPU. It includes multiple protection sections, allowing it to function as a standalone motor drive. The system supports easy configuration of both DC motors with direction and speed control and stepper motors with micro-steps, significantly reducing development and turnaround time for customers.

System Benefits​:

  • System overcurrent protection provides a hard cut-off to prevent damage.
  • Utilizes compact components for a sleek Pmod implementation.
  • High voltage HVPAK supports stepper motors with full, half, and micro-stepping, and 2-channel DC motor drive.
  • Controlled and configured via I2C and GPIO for various speed, direction, sleep, and fault inputs.
  • Offers flexibility and ease of integration with any MCU or MPU.
