Overview
Description
Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding, also known as gas tungsten arc welding, uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode to produce a weld. A variety of industries use TIG welding for high-quality welding purposes usually on thin metals, such as aluminum. Renesas' TIG Welding Controller solution is a complete DC + AC/DC TIG programmable welding control system.
System Benefits:
- Precise, wide range, arc-current measurement on the secondary side
- Detection of ozone and other dangerous gases concentration
- Isolated controller for high-side measurements/control
- IR multi-touch HMI display, operable with gloves
- Connected via Wi-Fi/Bluetooth® Low Energy (LE)
- Control circuitry for water cooling (enabling compact tool)
