Overview
Description
A magnetic flow meter (mag flow meter) measures the flow rate using Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. It comprises coils generating a magnetic field and electrodes sensing induced voltage from conductive fluids. The voltage is proportional to the flow rate, allowing accurate measurement. A transmitter processes signals to calculate flow. Mag flow meters offer high accuracy, reliability, and versatility for various industries like water management and chemical processing. They handle turbulent flow and slurries with low maintenance due to no moving parts. However, they require conductive fluids, limiting their use in non-conductive fluid applications. Mag flow meters provide precise flow measurements for industrial and commercial purposes.
System Benefits:
- The MCU provides an integrated 16-bit SAR ADC, 24-bit sigma-delta ADC, and op amp with low power.
- 3.3V powered single transceivers meet both the RS-485 and RS-422 standards for balanced communication.
- The dual amplifiers feature low noise, low input bias current, and low offset and temperature drift.
