Note:
- There are following limitations when using the emulator.
- (1) When using the emulator, the I/O port P8_5 is an N-channel Open-drain output. A 510kΩ pull-up resistor is connected to the P8_5 in the emulator. Please refer to R0E535M00MCU00 release notes and user's manual for details.
- a) M16C/5L, M16C/56 Groups (I/O port : CMOS output)
When using the I/O port P8_5 as an output port, an external pull-up resistor of the VCC level is needed on the user system. - b) M16C/5M, M16C/57 Group (I/O port : N-channel Open-drain output)
Set the value of the the pull-up resistor for the I/O port P8_5 up to the VCC level.
- a) M16C/5L, M16C/56 Groups (I/O port : CMOS output)
- (2) The functions of the multi-master I2C-bus interface and LIN module have limitations when using the emulator. Please see R0E535M00MCU00 Release Notes (E100 Emulator MCU Unit for M16C/5M M16C/5L M16C/56 M16C/5LD and M16C/56D Groups) (PDF | English, 日本語) and R0E535M00MCU00 User's Manual (E100 Emulator MCU Unit for M16C/5M, M16C/5L, M16C/56, M16C/5LD, and M16C/56D Groups) Rev.6.02 (PDF | English, 日本語) for further details.
