Overview
Description
The ISL74420M is a radiation tolerant, quad-output clock fanout IC with an optional internal oscillator. It provides synchronization clocks for any application and is particularly useful in multiphase power converters.
- Connect multiple ISL74420M devices to create more than four synchronized clocks
- Set division and delay options through selection pins or over an I2C/SMBus interface
- Configure each of the four outputs to a specific frequency division and phase delay
- Tune the 48MHz internal oscillator by ±10% with an external resistor
The ISL74420M is available in a 48-lead TQFP-EP package, with specifications covering a temperature range of −55 °C to +125 °C.
