Overview
Description
400ZR is an interoperable networking implementation agreement (IA) released by the Optical Internetworking Forum (OIF) in March 2020. It defines a footprint-optimized solution for transporting 400Gb Ethernet over Data Center Interconnect (DCI) links targeting a minimum distance of 80km. This low-power and space-efficient 400ZR module can be implemented in Quad Small Form Factor Pluggable Double Density (QSFP-DD) and Octal Small Form Factor Pluggable (OSFP) form factors.
System Benefits:
- 120MHz MCU, transimpedance amplifier (TIA), and driver allow for a compact and high-performance module
- Synchronous buck and PMIC are highly efficient in reducing module size and power consumption
