Online Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)

This solution provides an online Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS). It outputs AC through an inverter circuit and charges the battery in normal operation. Then in case of a power outage, it uses the battery output to make the AC power through the inverter. Renesas supports this total solution with the controller (MCU) and analog and power devices.

System Benefits​:

• Simple and high-performance solution for which the main power conversion blocks (inverter, PFC and boost, buck regulator and boost regulator for battery) are controlled by a single MCU
