Overview
Description
Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems require a powerful MPU like RZ/V2M. Dynamically Reconfigurable Processor for AI (DRP-AI) hardware IP for high-speed AI inference and accuracy is mandatory. One major differentiator is fast wireless communication for high data throughput. This system contains a SMARC SOM module, an M.2 Type E CL8040 module offering Wi-Fi 6, and an off-the-shelf camera module, all plugged into a carrier board.
System Benefits:
- Utilizes CL8040 that guarantees low latency and low interference in 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands
- Features 4x4 MIMO antenna for high Wi-Fi throughput
- Adopts the standard M.2 Type E form factor and a PCIe interface for superior performance
- Provides a single 3.3V supply for the Wi-Fi module (other power rails generated internally) and an additional 5V for the SMARC module
