Description

The high-end vision AI system features Renesas' DRP-AI high-efficiency AI accelerator and OpenCV image processing accelerator, enabling real-time object detection for next-generation robotics. This system is compatible with applications such as robot vacuum cleaners that monitor surroundings with cameras to estimate position, and industrial robots that use cameras to identify and pick up specified parts. It offers advanced capabilities for enhancing the functionality and precision of robotic systems.

System Benefits:

  • DRP-AI, a next-generation AI accelerator with a maximum capacity of 80 TOPS, enables high-precision and high-speed image AI systems at the edge.
  • On-chip high-speed Arm® Cortex®-R8 dual-core RTOS processor provides real-time control required for robots on a single chip.
