Rangefinders measure the distance between an observer and a target. They are commonly used across various industries, in applications such as home automation, industrial proximity sensing, and distance measurement. This smart rangefinder system addresses these challenges by incorporating a Time of Flight (ToF) sensor, achieving a wide range distance measurement (0.15m to 10m) with an accuracy below 3%. It is optimized for handheld and outdoor use, providing high ambient light immunity. Additionally, the system uses the world's lowest power Bluetooth^® Low Energy (LE) system-on-chip (SoC) for wireless communication and mobile app integration, maintaining long battery life.
