Overview

Description

Renesas' Solar Powered Location Tracker solution is a modular asset tracker with wireless connectivity through an LTE Cat-M1/NB-IoT cellular modem. Optionally, Bluetooth® Low Energy (LE) and Wi-Fi connectivity can be supported with additional radios through Pmod™ interfaces. The solution is controlled by a central MCU that balances low power requirements, interfaces, performance, and flexibility. The entire system is powered and charged through either photovoltaic (PV) solar cells or a USB Type-C connection.
