Description
Bluetooth® Low Energy (LE) tags offer an affordable, energy-efficient solution for real-time asset tracking, helping to reduce the loss or theft of valuable equipment, inventory, or products. This versatile system, compatible with Renesas' Bluetooth LE System-on-Chips (SoCs), perfectly complements the Bluetooth LE Angle of Arrival Locator for Asset Tracking and Locationing at Scale (ATLAS), creating a comprehensive asset tracking ecosystem. With the broad range of functions covered by the SoCs, designs can be tailored for any application within the asset tracking space, from ultra-low power, low-cost tags using DA1453x SoCs to high-end, rechargeable, multi-antenna tags for high-precision tracking using DA1469x SoCs. On variants featuring DA1459x and DA1469x, phase-based ranging can be implemented for accurate point-to-point tracking or combined with Angle of Arrival implementations. Integrated processors can manage additional functions such as sensor readout and logging for more extensive functionality or other application-specific tasks.
