Renesas Electronics Europe Expands Sales Drive in Russia

Dusseldorf, March 18, 2013 – Renesas Electronics Europe, a premier supplier of advanced semiconductor solutions, today announced that it has launched an expanded drive to build sales in Russia and other CIS countries. Against this backdrop, it has appointed a new distributor in Russia, PT Electronics, with immediate effect. PT Electronics, based in St. Petersburg, has multiple offices throughout Russia and has become one of the top five electronic component distributors in the region since it was founded in 1992. Renesas has added dedicated technical and commercial personnel resources to support PT Electronics and other local distributors, providing Russian-language sales and technical support.

With a team of over 200 specialists, PT Electronics is focusing on driving sales for Renesas’ families of microcontrollers, analogue and power devices, optocoupler devices and memory products. It will focus its promotion and sales activities on motor control, lighting, consumer, and security applications.
