Overview
Description
Electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) refers to the infrastructure that supplies electric energy for recharging electric vehicles (EVs), including plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs). Modern EVSE systems provide essential hardware and integrate software to manage power delivery, monitor usage, and handle billing for commercial charging stations.
This EV charger modular design with a controller board supports various connectivity options stacked on top of a power board. It offers built-in connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth® Low Energy (LE), and NFC, with the flexibility to add interfaces like Ethernet, ensuring seamless integration and adaptability for diverse applications.
System Benefits:
- Supports flexible configurations for 1-phase to 3-phase charging systems for power up to 22kW.
- MCU supports dual-flash bank operation, allowing safe over-the-air (OTA) updates and fallback.
- High voltage AC/DC eliminates the need for optocouplers, simplifying the system architecture.
